Gouache on paper of that charismatic garden bird, the goldfinch, in beautiful spring undergrowth. I've noticed that goldfinches like the dandelion seed heads, so here one is eyeing a couple up. The goldfinch isn't the only creature to be drawn in by the long grass and flowers.
